What is a Triangle ?

A triangle is a three-sided polygon with three angles. The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is always 180 degrees.

The formula for calculating the area (A) of a triangle is given by:

A = ½bh

where:

• A is the area of the square
• b is the length of the base of the triangle
• h is the perpendicular distance from the base to the opposite vertex

To find the area of a rectangle, you multiply the base by the height and divide by 2.
