What is a Cube ?

A cube is a three-dimensional geometric shape where all six faces are identical squares. It is a special case of a rectangular prism where all edges have the same length.

The formula for calculating the surface area (SA) of a cube is given by:

SA = 6 x s2

where:

  • SA is the surface area of the cube
  • s is the length of one side of the cube.

To find the surface area of a cube, you simply square the side length multiply with 6.
