Byte is a unit of digital information that most commonly consists of eight bits. A single byte can be used to represent 256 different values. 1000 bytes = 1 Kilobyte (KB). 1024 bytes = 1 Kibibyte (KiB).

How to Convert Gigabit to Byte?

1 Gigabit is equal to 125000000 Byte. To convert Gigabit to Byte, use this simple formula:

Byte = Gigabit x 125000000

So, just multiply the number of Gigabit by 125000000 to get equivalent value in Byte.

Example 1:

Convert 5 Gigabit to Byte
5 x 125000000 = 625000000 Byte

Example 2:

Convert 7.5 Gigabit to Byte
7.5 x 125000000 = 937500000 Byte
