Nibble Per Second (nibbleps) - Definition and Overview
nibbleps unit of measurement used to express the rate at which data is transferred from one location to another in a data network.
When data transfer rates are expressed in Nibble Per Second, it means that the amount of data being transferred is measured in terms of Nibbles over a period of one Second.
Nibble is an aggregation of four bits. It is also called a quadbit or a half-byte. Nibble can have up to 16 possible values.
